The               Leaf's               lithium               batteries               are               leased               to               buyers               during               the               vehicle               transaction,               allowing               combined               monthly               payments               and               an               overall               cost               that,               when               compared               to               standard               fuel               vehicles,               is               comparable.

               Ford               Fusion               Hybrid
               Mother               Earth               News               chose               the               five-passenger               Ford               Fusion               Hybrid               sedan               as               being               the               top               among               a               list               of               top               10               green               cars.

Consumer               Reports               chosen               the               Ford               Fusion               Hybrid               for               its               American               Top               Picks:               Green               Car               Category,               and               it               won               the               Motor               Trend               Car               of               the               Year.

Coming               in               at               34               mpg               in               Consumer               Report               testing,               they               referred               to               the               vehicle               as               "enjoyable               to               drive."               Mother               Earth               News               notes               it               is               capable               of               running               up               to               47               mpg               just               on               electric               power.

Prices               range               from               $28,675               to               $32,620.
